hcminus

Instead of hcminus, use SoFplus 1.4. It does everything hcminus does and more.

hcminus is a SoF server modification that gives you some control over the Haxorcist. You can switch Haxorcist OFF, ON or it can be ON, but still allow players without Haxorcist to play.

Note: You can use hcminus without Haxorcist. You won't have full cheat protection, but other features like crash protection are available.

Changes in version 0.010:

• sv_violence can be set on the commandline (i.e. "C:\SoF\SoF.exe" +set dedicated 1 +set sv_violence 32)
• SpanwEntities always on to allow the map command to be used. This solves a problem for CTF where the flag caps weren't reset to 0 when using the gamemap command.

Improvements in version 0.009 / 0.010 are:

• Better crash protection (if you enable hc_check_packets)
• New commands
  • red / blue: change team_red_blue to 0 / 1
  • play / spec: change spectator to 0 / 1
  • walk / run: change cl_run to 0 / 1
• More logging. All hcminus logfiles are written to user/sofplus/sv/log/ now.
• Redirect message to http://www.clanplay.com/haxorcist/ instead of http://www.haxorcist.com/
• Changed the SpawnEntities function to allow for small server side modifications without client side downloads:
  • Read entities from file. Use this to fix maps (i.e. dm/jpnctf1) or to convert single player maps to multiplayer (i.e. jpn3)
  • Replace / delete entites (i.e. replace all shotguns by a magnum)
  • Write entities to file for editing
